Principals Letter October 29th, 2021

October 29, 2021

Greetings,

In elementary age students, having a regular routine of arriving at school on time (8:15), eating breakfast, and starting the day with the rest of the class helps their focus and growth.  Attendance in earlier grades is directly connected with high school graduation rates and access to higher education. During the pandemic, attendance became less structured as students could engage in person and at home remotely.  Now that we have fully returned to in person learning, it’s important to have students at school everyday.  Of course if a child is ill or there are circumstances that require your child to not attend school, make sure you call the office and let us know.  Lastly, making sure that screens (iPad, phones, TV) are turned off 30 minutes before bedtime helps students get to sleep on time and be well rested.

Don’t forget to join us tomorrow at our Autumn Festival.

Upcoming Dates:

  • Oct. 30th -Autumn Festival 10am-2pm
  • Nov. 2nd -No In Person School (Asynchronous activities will be offered)

Saludos,
