Weekly Family Update February 10th, 2023

Black History continues at PS 20 this week. Check out this digital video series that highlights the celebrations, struggles, and the people who shaped Black History. They are quick videos you can watch with your kids to start conversations. Thank you for all the donations that we received last week. We have welcomed over 20 new families this past week from all different countries. These families have been welcomed with open arms into PS 20 by so many of you. Thank you to the parents managing the food pantry on Thursdays and the PTA for supporting with donations. If you are interested in getting involved, please email Tina or come to the next PTA meeting on Tuesday February 14th.

Support the PTA GiveButter Campaign to fund Interactive Whiteboards in all classrooms. All donations are tax deductible.

El mes de la historia Negra continúa en PS 20 esta semana. Mire esta serie de videos digitales que destaca las celebraciones, las luchas y las personas que dieron forma a la historia Negra. Son videos cortos que puede ver con sus hijos para iniciar conversaciones. Gracias por todas las donaciones que recibimos la semana pasada. Hemos dado la bienvenida a más de 20 nuevas familias la semana pasada de todos los países diferentes. Estas familias han sido recibidas con los brazos abiertos en PS 20 por muchos de ustedes.
