Greetings,
Over the last 2 years, I have heard so many community members speak about wanting more opportunities to build relationships or feel more connected to the PS 20. This past week has welcomed back art performances, field day, field trips, and an amazing Family Friday that brought so many community members back into the building. Families, staff, and students working together has always been what we value. Keep up the good work!
On June 15th, we will hold our PTA & SLT elections. Over the past 2 years, our PTA has become a non profit, raised over $50,000 for programs and supplies for PS 20 students, and created a clear line of communication for our families from monthly PTA meetings, morning pop ups, and family events. It is vital that we continue to build on this work, especially as the city and school may experience budget cuts. Consider running for the PTA board to support the continuation of this work!

En los últimos 2 años, escuché a muchos miembros de la comunidad hablar sobre el deseo de tener más oportunidades para establecer relaciones o sentirse más conectados con PS 20. La semana pasada ha dado la bienvenida a presentaciones artísticas, días de campo, excursiones y un viernes familiar increíble que trajo a tantos miembros de la comunidad de regreso al edificio.
