Principals Letter January 21st, 2022

January 21, 2022

Greetings,

Now that the weather has become very cold, we have been spending more time indoors during recess. We still go outside if the weather is 32 degrees or higher so please send kids with hats and gloves. We have extra if your child needs them.  As we spend more time indoors, we also spend less time moving.  Find a time each day to get everyone at home moving.  This can include a dance party while cooking dinner, a GoNoodle video, or a 15 minute family yoga session.  There are lots of easy ways to get moving and spend time together.  As we spend more time indoors, child screen time also increases.  Have a conversation with your family and set boundaries around screen time limits.

Saludos,
