Greetings,
We want to wish everyone a safe healthy Winter Break. Take time during the break to turn off screens, put the devices away, and spend time together. Consider reflecting on this past year. While many of us have come to think of 2020 as one of our toughest years, I have been honored to be a part of a community that genuinely cares for each other. Thank you for all you have done; from wearing masks, supporting teachers, helping your child with remote learning, and most of all your patience. As a community, we can start fresh again in the new year. We remember the community members we have lost over this past year to COVID, not only at PS 20, but as a city. Please be safe over the next few weeks. I will be available during the Winter Break for emergencies via email (spinto4@schools.nyc.gov).

- If you plan to travel outside of NY, your child must quarantine for 14 days before returning to in person instruction. Please check the State’s guidelines: coronavirus.health.ny.gov/covid-19-travel-advisory for more information.

Queremos desearles a todos unas vacaciones de invierno saludables y seguras. Tómese un tiempo durante el descanso para apagar las pantallas, guardar los dispositivos y pasar tiempo juntos. Considere reflexionar sobre este último año. Muchos de nosotros hemos llegado a pensar en 2020 como uno de nuestros años más difíciles, pero para mi me ha honrado ser parte de una comunidad que se preocupa genuinamente por los demás. Gracias por todo lo que han hecho; desde usar máscaras, apoyar a los maestros, ayudar a su hijo con el aprendizaje remoto y, sobre todo, su paciencia. Como comunidad, podemos comenzar de nuevo en el nuevo año.
