Greetings,

NY State testing will resume this year for all 3rd, 4th, & 5th grade students in Reading, Writing, Math, and Science (4th grade only).  On testing days, visitors are restricted from the building during the morning hours.  Kindergarten -2nd grade students are reminded to walk the hallways quietly.

Dates: 

March 29th & March 30th -3rd-5th grade ELA exam

April 26th & April 27th -3rd-5th grade Math exam

May 24th & June 6th -4th grade Science Exam

As in the past, families may opt out their child from testing.  If you plan to opt out your child from some or all of the NYS Testing this year, please fill out this google form. If you have already sent an email, there is no need to refill out the form.  Join us for an in person workshop on March 24th called “Stress Less for the Test,” hosted by Henry Street Mental Health Clinic.   It provides tips and strategies to help your student manage the testing days.

  • Click on Learning Survey, Click on Take the 2022 NYC School Survey, Enter the letter  f for family & your child’s OSIS number (i.e. f123456789), Complete the survey. 
  • Pre K applications are due March 18th

Los exámenes del estado de Nueva York se reanudarán este año para todos los estudiantes de 3.°, 4.° y 5.° grado en Lectura, Escritura, Matemáticas y Ciencias (solo 4.° grado). En los días de los exámenes, se restringe la entrada de visitantes al edificio durante las horas de la mañana.
